If you aren’t a watcher of Saturday night television then you are probably wondering what Harry Hill and Wink Bingo have in common. Well when it comes to television sponsorship this is yet another coo for this site; not only do they sponsor the new game show hosted by Philip Schofield, The Cube, but over the last couple of weeks we have also seen the Wink Bingo name before and after the commercial breaks of Harry Hill’s TV Burp.
For any internet bingo site to have their name shown during prime time viewing on a Saturday night carries huge kudos, not to mention an increase in interest for their site but Wink Bingo have taken it too extremes with two shows that air back to back both carrying their brand name in the commercial breaks.
Are we soon to see Wink Bingo sponsoring the X Factor? This new sponsorship deal with Harry Hill and Wink Bingo definitely puts the Foxy Bingo / Jeremy Kyle sponsorship to shame and whilst Foxy will say that the audience of the Jeremy Kyle is more likely to be made up of a higher percentage of the demographic that play internet bingo, Wink Bingo seem to be aiming to take the game to the masses with their prime time television slots.
Advertising on television seems to be rife in the world of internet bingo with many sites recently launching their first ever marketing campaigns onto the small screen. Both Virgin Bingo and Sky Bingo have just launched their first ever television campaigns and rumour has it that shortly we will also see Mecca Bingo joining the ranks of internet bingo sites advertising on the goggle box.
