Bingo acronyms are used in all of the chat rooms at the sites available online but for the novice player, these abbreviations might as well be a foreign language. Some of the more common acronyms you may have come across on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter whilst others, well even we had to look them up.
With the advent of mobile bingo and the introduction of tablets, smart phones and other handheld devices, acronyms became more common. With phone keyboards smaller than those on a desktop, the abbreviations soon became more of a necessity than just laziness.
