Mirror Bingo first launched back in 2011, and over the past few years have been through a number of changes, but none of them as drastic as the most recent. On the 16th July 2014 they left the 888 Holdings/Globalcom software and Cashcade network behind in favour of a new home on the Virtue Fusion network, complete with their Playtech platform; a move that surprised both the industry and players alike.
The new Mirror Bingo site will not be to everyone’s taste as its red and white colour scheme is quite plain when compared to the competition, and the only sign to show they are associated with the newspaper is the logo in the top left hand corner. Nevertheless it is well laid out and extremely easy to navigate with just five buttons on their menu. The rest of the homepage is made up of a few banners, details of their latest offers and direct links to the majority of their games, which negates the need to enter the lobby.
As part of the changeover process, all account details were meant to be carried over, but when we tried to log in it would not recognize our password. So we thought we would sign up for a new account and completed the simple two page registration form but were then told there was a problem and we needed to contact support. In the end it took us over an hour with live chat and it turned out that the problem was because we had accounts with Sunday Mail bingo and Daily Record Bingo and these have now all merged under the Mirror Bingo moniker, it looked as though we had duplicate accounts.
If you are new to the brand you will not experience any of these problems, and registering should take no more than a couple of minutes. You will not earn a bonus until you have deposited and wagered your first £10 though, at which point you will receive a small bingo and slots bonus. They offer a number of different ways to fund your account including Paysafe and Ukash, so you can easily monitor how much you are spending. Unfortunately they do not offer any reload bonuses, which is sure to put a few people off.
Head into the Mirror Bingo lobby and will find a huge range of games including 75 ball bingo, 80 ball bingo, 90 ball bingo, slots, instants and casino games. In addition to this you have what they call ‘Headliners’ and here you will find community games, some of which are based on TV game shows such as Who Wants to be a Millionaire and Deal or No Deal. These combine the fun of instant games with the ability to compete against other players for the chance to win bigger cash prizes.
The rooms themselves continue the red and white theme and are of the standard we have come to expect from the software, as it has been tweaked over many years to make sure everything works well. The screen is split down the middle with half dedicated to the chat room and the rest displaying your cards. You can access all of the side games without leaving as they open up in a panel, but the only downside is that this reduces the size of the chat room by half.
If you are looking for big money games then you won’t go far wrong at Mirror Bingo, as their schedule is packed full of guaranteed jackpot games including daily and monthly Bingo Linx games, with some impressive prize pots up for grabs. In addition to this they regularly add weekly and monthly specials with a share of £250,000 being given away over a three day weekend. Sadly this is the limit to their promotions, there are no free bingo rooms, no prize promotions and as mentioned earlier, not even a reload bonus.
Mirror Bingo is not a bad site, they offer a massive range of games combined with the chance to win plenty of big cash jackpots, but they have nothing to make them stand out from all of the others sites on the market. If you are a fan of the Virtue Fusion software then sure you will have a great time, but in our opinion there are bigger and better sites out there, offering the same player experience with more benefits, more freebies, and a wider variety of promotions.
Mirror Bingo Review – Bingo Games
Game Options at Mirror Bingo
Mirror Bingo is powered by the popular Virtue Fusion software, and is home to 75 ball bingo, 80 ball bingo, 90 ball bingo and a range of slots, scratch cards and instant games. The bingo rooms are well designed and they have included plenty of options, enabling you to personalise your playing experience. Choose ‘Options’ from the drop down menu at the top of the screen and you will find have full control over all the sounds, the graphics and the chat room.
There are twelve different dab shapes with designs for both male and female players alike. In addition to this they offer ten different dab colours and even four different dabbers styles including a magic wand, a hammer and a lipstick. In the chat room they have included a good range of emoticons and bingo acronyms such as 1TG, LOL, WDW and WTG, which will all save you time and repetitive typing!
It’s always worth while completing your profile as it gives other players the chance to learn more about you. As you make friends with other players, you can add them to your own buddy list, making it easier to see when are online, and you can even send them messages, allowing you to char in private.
Jackpots
Mirror Bingo is one of the many sites on the Virtue Fusion network, and as such is home to a wide range of guaranteed jackpot games, scattered throughout the day. The highlight of their schedule though, is the three 90 ball Bingo Linx games that take place each evening between Saturday and Thursday, giving you the opportunity to win a share of over £9,000.
On Friday night they up the value of the 10:30pm game to £6,000 and you can purchase up to Thirty six tickets for 50p each to maximise your chances of winning.
On the first Saturday of each month, Mirror Bingo hosts a Bingo Linx hour between 10pm and 11pm. This hour consisting of eleven special games, ten of which come complete with a £1,000 prize pot. At 10.30pm though, this is upped to a huge £10,000!
If you are looking for even more jackpots though, make sure you check out the Big Weekender that takes place on the last weekend of every month. All of the action is in the Red Carpet Room on Friday, Saturday and Sunday night and there is a whopping £250,000 up for grabs.

If you are looking for a wide variety of promotions, then Mirror Bingo is not really the place for you. If however you are attracted by the lure of large guaranteed jackpots, you won’t go far wrong. Their regular line-up includes three Bingo Linx games a day totalling over £9,000 and on the first Saturday of every month they host a Bingo Linx hour and give away a whopping £20,000. In addition to this, you will find they add monthly specials such as big nights in and escalator jackpots.
Unfortunately Mirror Bingo do not have any dedicated free bingo rooms, but you will find the occasional game in the exclusive Pennies from Heaven room. This room is also where you can enjoy bargain bingo, with cards starting at just a penny each, and because it is only accessible by Mirror Bingo players, your odds of winning a game or two are greatly improved.
Once a month Mirror Bingo offer their players an evening of value games filled with £30,000 worth of cash prizes and discounted tickets. The fun takes place in the Red Carpet Room from 6pm until midnight and you can take advantage of BOGOF Bingo tickets costing from as little as 1p and special feature games including 1 and 2TG, giving you even more chances to win!
