Kitty Bingo launched with a bang in mid-2012, and was launched to replace the bingo offering at Spin and Win casino, as well as being a standalone site. Kitty promoted the launch with TV adverts and promotions galore, so the avid bingo fan couldn’t have failed to see the new site. Kitty Bingo is powered by its own proprietary software, which is refreshing to see when so many other sites are launching on Virtual Fusion and Dragonfish. However, does the site live up to the hype?
When you arrive on the Kitty Bingo site, you are greeted by a fun, feline focused homepage, which is clearly laid out and designed well. The user can immediately see how to access various parts of the site from the golden ribbon banner across the top of the page where you’ll find a tab to their many promotions and a display which features some of their most favourite, to the far left hand side of the screen. As well as 75 ball bingo, 90 ball bingo, Turbo Bingo and 5 Line Bingo, players can also choose to play progressive bingo for larger jackpots alongside Chat Games and Instant Games in the sidebars. There is definitely a good variety of games here, which is already an improvement on Spin and Win
The winners’ page has a useful and detailed list of recent winners, from promotion winners to the largest progressive bingo winner. Instant games winners are frequently winning in the £500s, and bingo wins can top the £700 mark. Plus there’s even a section dedicated to a whole host of ‘winners stories’ which you can read and listen to whenever it takes your fancy. There is also a Kitty Loyalty Club, where players can collect Kitty Points to amass VIP status, which will include Birthday Bonuses, a Cashback Scheme and faster withdrawal periods.
Of course, it’s the promotions that currently have everyone talking and they have got a huge range of on-going specials, which include big prizes on certain bingo games and daily prizes. What is great however is that players will have the option whether or not to accept the bonuses, which is a great new feature and one we would like to see more sites adopt, so that players are able to withdraw their winnings faster and with less outlay.
Once in the Lobby, players will not be disappointed. Unlike some themed sites which can lose their way a little once game-play begins, the Lobby has the same high quality, colourful imagery and ease of navigation of the homepage. The layout is simple and game-play smooth and easy. The only slight drawback is the lack of customisation options for your profile, but this really is nit-picking. Interestingly and in complete contrast to Spin and Win is that at time of writing, the Bingo Rooms are actually pretty well occupied, and each has a good number of players scattered across the open Rooms.
One of the problems with new bingo sites is that encouraging players to fill those rooms can be problematic and building brand loyalty can take time. However, the attractive promotions and TV adverts have obviously worked, as the lobby and rooms feel as busy and full of hustle and bustle as a much more established site.
Of course, the dominant theme running across Kitty Bingo is our furry friend the kitty cat, and this site is bound to appeal to fans of our feline friends. With bingo game names like Jazz Cat, Purring Kittens and Fat Cat, the site has maintained its cutesy branding whilst having the unique and interesting game-play – not to mention roomies – to back it up. One thing is for certain; players will be like the cat that got the cream once they see what’s on offer over here!
Kitty Bingo Review – Bingo Games
Game Options at Kitty Bingo
Kitty Bingo is powered by its own proprietary software, and it has clearly been designed well and with the needs of the player in mind. There is a good range of 90 ball and 75 ball bingo, but no further variety as of yet. There are also progressive jackpots, but as the games are standalone the jackpots are not yet much higher than the regular 90 or 75 ball.
This online bingo site most certainly offers a unique gaming experience, so much so that they have even dedicated a page for all their ‘Game Extras’. Simply click through this tab (which can be found via the ‘bingo’ button on their golden banner) and you will find an extensive list naming their extras and what each one has to offer, these include Free spins, Zoom in, Icons, My Results, No Limits Bingo and many more – you’ll even find out how to pick your very own furry avatar.
Progressive Jackpots
Kitty Bingo offer only one type of bingo progressive jackpots to their players and you’ll find it in their 90 ball rooms. They like to call this jackpot ‘Kitty Cash’ and to be able to bag the progressive pot; you will have to win a full house in 37 calls or less during one of their linked games. The prize amount for this jackpot change considerably, depending on how long it hasn’t been won for and how many players purchase tickets. For something a little different, you could always try out your luck with their progressive slots jackpot.
Promotions
The promotions available at KB are really one of a kind, there’s no doubt that these change on a regular basis so you will have to check out their ‘Promos’ section from time to time to find out what’s new and what’s not. But there will always be some fixed specials and bonus games for slots available; take a previous promotion for example – ‘Welcome £40’ promo for instance – this was a promotional game for all new players at their online site.
Basically for seven days after your first deposit you had opportunity to play in a one-off welcome game where tickets cost a mere 1p each, with a maximum purchase of 96 cards. The winner of these games took home that £40 prize pot and were notified by either telephone or email.
Other Games
There is a good range of instant games to play, which include slots games, card games and roulette, plus scratch cards and progressive jackpots. These also have good sized jackpots, and players can easily match their bingo winnings by playing a side game. Animations are impressive, and game-play smooth with very little wait for the games to load.
