Swaggering into town with a sparkle in its eyes and the sort of six-pack ladies really like to see their men clutching, Hunky Bingo opened in March 2015. This is a Cassava/Dragonfish site, so it’s backed by a very big brand with proven games. The superficial selling point of the site is pretty obvious: pictures of very tasty looking chaps are everywhere.

The site is attractive enough, in bright purple, blue and white, but – gorgeous guys aside – it doesn’t really stand out for its design. It is very functional though. The menus are simple, text is clear, and you shouldn’t ever find yourself lost at Hunky Bingo.

Joining up is really easy to do, you simply fill in your personal details on three simple forms, with an autocomplete for your address once you put your postcode in. Remember to select whether you’d like to receive emails and texts promoting Hunky Bingo’s offers. You don’t have to supply any card or payment details to access the site, but you cannot collect the welcome bonus without going through this step.

Once you’ve had a look around, click Play Bingo to launch the lobby. It’s packed with games, with no fewer than nine tabs listing all the options at the time this review was written.

Bingo games are divided into 90-ball and 75-ball games, jackpot games, £100 jackpots, the exclusive Hunky HQ games, free games, and two tabs for big promoted games. Before you commit to the game of your choice you’re told the ticket price, the time to the next game and the current jackpot. There are progressive jackpots for 75, 90-ball and High Five players. It’s a shame that, unlike many sites these days, you’re not told the name of any chat host or how many players are in action inside.

Inside the room – without a single semi-clad chap in sight! – the layout is clear and simple. The tickets dominate the large central window with the details of the game above that, ticket buying is done along a vertical strip to the left. The chat window is to the right, with a row of instant games above. If you want to check your account, the details are across the very top of the screen with several clickable symbols – help, room options, sound, and exit – to the right.

Hunky Bingo Summary

Hunky Bingo works well. It has lots of games (and lots of free ones), the chat hosts seem friendly and knowledgeable, they are not shy of promotions with big prizes and have made an effort with their loyalty scheme. Plenty to like then. Even if the gimmick of pin-up images isn’t particularly your cup of tea (there’s nothing naughty here, it’s hard to imagine anyone getting too hot under the collar), it shouldn’t interfere with your enjoyment of a good, straightforward bingo site.

Hunky Bingo offers the same gaming experience as all of the other brands available on the Internet on the Dragonfish network. You have the choice of three different games; 75 ball bingo (pattern), 90 ball bingo and five line bingo (Swedish Bingo).

Free Bingo

Everyone loves free bingo, so will be licking their lips at the selection at Hunky Bingo. Just by registering you can access a £1-jackpot game from the free games tab for 72 hours. We were also able to play the free Cheap Date game in the exclusive Hunky HQ selection.

The £1 game is open every day from 9am to 6pm (games every six minutes), and members who have deposited in the preceding seven days can also play. A £10 jackpot game is open every day from 6pm to 10pm to players who have deposited £25 in the previous seven days. There is a £35-jackpot game at 8pm every day open to every player who has made a single £10 deposit in the previous seven days. Finally, the big spenders – a single £100 deposit in the previous seven days – can play for a £150 jackpot on Fridays at 8pm.

Loyalty

If you want to follow the advice of the song and stand by your man, the hunks at Hunky Bingo will reward you in return. The loyalty scheme takes players from Athletic, through Toned and Muscled to the top Super-Hunk level. The currency is Hunks, and for each pound you deposit you’ll be given 12 Hunks. As soon as you deposit you move up to Toned, at 600 Hunks (£50) you become Muscled, after earning 2,400 Hunks (£200 deposited) you reach the top with a Super-Hunk.

Rewards arrive in the form of cash back on bingo (maximum 15%) and slots (maximum 10%), free spins, and tickets to a big jackpot game.

This is a monthly scheme, so the rewards can change with the turn of a calendar page. While this gives players the chance to shoot to the top of the scheme quickly, where’s the loyalty from the site to the long-term customer?
