If you’re a fan of Glossy magazines, then Glossy Bingo might instantly appeal to you with its magazine style homepage. It takes a moment to work out where you are, it is different to many sites on the market today, and that of course is an appeal to players who find many sites look very similar these days. A scratch beneath the surface and it’s clear that the Microgaming is at the helm here.

From the homepage you’ll see the quick registration process to the left, it makes it look as though you could sign up for a new account in about 20 seconds, but once you submit it does take you through to the main sign up page for Glossy Bingo where you’ll have to fill in a few more details. Once you are ready to play you can launch all the games from the bingo lobby.

There are 75 and 90-ball bingo games available to play at Glossy Bingo but there aren’t a huge number of bingo rooms. Once you are in the rooms you’ll see that the site doesn’t really differ to other Microgaming sites. There are plenty of cheap tickets, and the bingo itself plays quite well, but there are some pretty annoying sound effects and it doesn’t take long before they get incredibly old.

If you like big jackpots, then you won’t be disappointed with what’s on offer at Glossy Bingo. Each of the bingo rooms offers progressive jackpots, and the schedule shows weekly and monthly pre-buys that aren’t exactly life-changing but they are enough to get your heart racing with some exciting prizes on offer.

What the site does lack in exciting bingo it more than makes up for on the games side of things. This is where the Microgaming software really excels and we can only say we’re sad that their bingo product doesn’t quite match up with the casino software on offer. At Glossy Bingo you’ll find a great selection of these games including big jackpots slots, standard slots and a raft of casino games and instant wins.

Adding a little extra when you play are the range of promotions and specials on offer at Glossy Bingo and here there is what seems like a big range of promotions. However, when you have a proper look you’ll see that many of them are just chat games with quite low prizes, and they’re also pretty network standard.

We had high hopes when we landed on the homepage at Glossy Bingo, but once you get over the glossy veneer it’s just another networked bingo site, and not on the best network either. We have no big complaints about Glossy Bingo, but it didn’t really set our world on fire.

There’s both 75 ball bingo and 90 ball available at Glossy Bingo but there aren’t all that many bingo rooms. It does get busier in the evening, but during the day we weren’t that impressed with what we found.

As mentioned above, we felt the sound effects got a little tedious after a while, but thankfully there are plenty of game options available so you can personalise your game. As well as all the usual dauber options you can turn off these chat sounds, and the caller too if you prefer your bingo a little more peaceful, and this is great because we all want something different from our game, and these options make it easy to get the game we want to play.

We still maintain that the most exciting thing about Glossy Bingo is the side games, and these come in many forms, and with many budget options so you can spin the reels on some big jackpot slots from just a penny a spin!

Jackpots

In addition to the progressive jackpots, Glossy Bingo also host a range of pre-buy, guaranteed jackpots. The big game for the brand is the Monthly MegaPot and there’s £1,500 a month to be won in this game, but look out for other regulars as during our visit there was a £10,000 guaranteed jackpot up for grabs, and that’s enough to get anyone excited! Loyalty

Like most sites available today, Glossy Bingo have a loyalty scheme and a VIP program too. As you wager in the bingo rooms and on the side games you’ll earn 1 loyalty point for every £1 wagered, for every 500 points you’ll receive £5 of bonus funds.

However, if you are a VIP at Glossy Bingo you can look forward to increased bonuses on deposits, and exclusive deals, but to receive these you’ll have to work through the loyalty levels at Glossy Bingo and see if you meet the criteria.

Promotions

The promotions at Glossy Bingo come in the form of daily, weekly and monthly specials. Daily specials are worth keep an eye on and offer some interesting promotions, although these are network wide, rather than unique to this one site. Monthly specials aren’t a big appeal to us here because it seems they have simply turned their chat games into a promotion, and we think chat games and prizes should just be a given anyway. The monthly promotions tab is full of jackpots, and you should find all the pre-buys available over the next month on that tab. The promotions are ok, but they aren’t massively generous and you will be competing against the entire Microgaming Network for the prizes.
