We’ve always been fans of the Tidy Savers club at Tidy Bingo because it’s not something we have seen done by any brand previously. The site gives their players the option of saving the loyalty points earned in the standalone room on site (the Tidy Cupboard) and then will give players their balance as Love2Shop vouchers.
The first every payout of the Tidy Savers club is scheduled for this week and the results have been posted on the Tidy Bingo blog. In total the site has paid out over £1,000 in Love2Shop vouchers to players who opted into the promotion!
The total amount was actually £1,135, but the site also credited back 78,000 in loyalty points too. The reason for this was that many players hadn’t saved a round figure so as promised; Tidy Bingo refunded any amount that was not a multiple of £5 or £10.
For example (as can be seen on their blog), one player saved £110 in vouchers but was also refunded 1,500 loyalty points.
This is because whilst loyalty points on site have a value of 1,000 for £1, for the Tidy Savers, their value is halved. However, when crediting any points back – the site honoured their original value.
Tidy Bingo Savers 2016
We thought this might be a one-off promotion from Tidy Bingo, after all it takes a lot of admin and paperwork to keep a tally of which player has saved what points. We were mistaken, the site is doing it all again in 2016.
With Christmas just around the corner, we have no doubt that Love2Shop vouchers winging their way to Tidy players are going to come in handy.
