In October 2014 we noticed that the Busy Bingo players were being redirected to Harrys Bingo. We had not received notification of the closure so cannot be sure when the brand actually stopped accepting players.
The following review is now for information purposes only and will no longer be updated.
Busy Bingo Review
When you land at Busy Bingo for the first time, if you are an avid player of the game online, then you will know instantly that this brand is powered by the Cozy Games software. The design and overall layout of the home page is standard to sites using this software. As you might expect from a brand with this name you will find a number of bees dotted about the page but the big question is whether they are going to provide you with honey or their buzzing is going to be irritating?
Busy Bingo welcomes you in with a pretty simplistic although attractive homepage offering big bonuses and free cash. That’s the ethos of this network using the Cozy Games software and with a change in 2013 of its wagering requirements, it’s a site that’s greatly improved. If you’ve dismissed the site as just another Cozy site previously, you could find yourself tempted back. The site operates as part of the Super Bingo Network. Only a few simple details are required to get started and enjoy the big bonuses on offer. We found the site pretty easy to navigate and once you are signed up you can head to the bingo lobby.
Three bingo rooms were available during our visit, all accessible from within the browser, and one of each variant available. Of the three bingo rooms, 90-ball is where all the players are, but there are a few stragglers in the 75-ball and 80-ball rooms too if that’s more your thing. From the lobby all the game information is clear, so you can make a decision before entering the room and there are lots of penny tickets and buy one get one free offers available.
You’ll notice the layout of the bingo rooms doesn’t differ too much from other sites available today, although this software uses much lower quality graphics than many of the shiny bingo sites around today. Ticket purchasing is really easy and there are lots of options to personalise your game. The Chat Hosts really do leave a lot to be desired, and there’s no option to close chat, which is a big downside to the interface.
As well as budget bingo there are plenty of jackpots too including big progressives in the bingo rooms and a few pre-buy jackpots up for grabs too. Many of the promotions on site are deposit based, but this does mean oodles of free cash for you.
Busy Bingo also offers a huge selection of games alongside the bingo. There are a lot of slots available, some traditional, some jackpot, alongside instant wins and fun arcade games, Vegas style casino games and more, all with great graphics too!
Overall we can’t really shout about the Cozy Games software, and their chat hosts really let the platform down. However, if you can get over the low graphics and the irritating hosts then Busy Bingo has become a much more appealing prospect for players. Lowered wagering requirements and fairer withdrawals have made the brand somewhere that might actually be worth playing at.
Busy Bingo Review – Bingo Games
Game Options
You can choose from three bingo variants at Busy Bingo, 90-ball, 80-ball and 75-ball, although 90 ball is really where everyone’s at and that means it’s the room with the biggest jackpots.
Once you are in the bingo rooms you can customise your game in several ways. There’s a manual daub function if you’d like to mark your own cards and you can change the colour and shape of your dauber too. There’s music in the game, and you can hear the caller too, although you can adjust the volume on both however you wish.
The bingo offers a lot of different games and the instants at Busy Bingo are no different. All the mini games are accessible from the bingo lobby or above the bingo game when your game is in play. You can multi-task and play any of the fantastic slots and games on offer while your bingo game is in play, so there’s always something to do, without too many dull moments.
Unique Features
The bingo might not be as strong as with other brands, but Busy Bingo do offer something unique, and that’s huge sign up bonuses and reloads! There’s £15 free, no deposit for new players and massive reloads on each and every deposit you make, and as the wagering requirements were overhauled in 2013, it’s actually possible to win some real cash prizes too! These aren’t temporary or promotional, you can claim these bonuses all the time, making Busy Bingo great value for money.
Chat Games
The chat games aren’t really anything to get excited about at Busy Bingo but they are available, with restrictions. Be aware that unless you have made a deposit, you cannot join in any of the chat games at the site, and even after you have deposited, you can only play chat games if you’ve deposited within the last 10 days. We have to confess we spent our time on site pretending chat wasn’t there, and it’s a real shame there’s no option to close it out completely.
Promotions
The promotions are mainly deposit based at Busy Bingo, but the more you do deposit each time, the bigger the reload bonuses. Aside from this there are monthly promotions, themed around an event each month and these often include free bingo sessions, guaranteed jackpots, cashback deals and the odd slots promo too. Compared to some of the big named bingo sites out there, it falls a little short, but the big deposit bonuses go some way to levelling that out!
