On 1st November Aunty Acid Bingo made an appearance in the world of online bingo bringing the caustic tongued granny with her funny taglines and unpopular opinions to life for players. Backland Studio, the creators of Aunty Acid, chose the Cozy Games bingo software to power their gaming suite, not a choice you would have expected from such a popular character.

Putting Cozy and Aunty Acid together for a bingo site is like adding ketchup to a perfectly cooked steak, it just doesn’t fit and we certainly don’t think the combination will work well for the brand. The home page of Aunty Acid Bingo also leaves a lot to be desired with none of the inimitable humour that we have come to expect from the less than friendly granny.

Of course it could be that you have no clue who Aunty Acid is and just see the brand choosing a cartoon Grandma to front their bingo offering!

As with all of the sites in the Live Bingo Network the registration process is quite simple but only if you don’t have accounts with any other brand from LBN. Should you have signed with others then you can use your username and password to login and play with Aunty Acid, you just won’t be eligible for the no deposit bonus on offer.

Aunty Acid will be there in the lobby to show you what she has to offer by way of bingo and whilst we may not be big fans of the Cozy Games offering, we can’t fault them for the number of bingo variants they have to offer – the most of any other platform online today. You will be able to choose from 30 ball (Speed games), 75 ball (pattern bingo), 80 ball (Cashline / Shutterboard) and 90 ball games if you register with Aunty Acid Bingo.

We’d love to be able to wax lyrical about all the great things that this brand has to offer by way of promotions but sadly, like many a site before it on this platform, there is nothing to make Aunty Acid Bingo stand out from the crowd.

With the registration issues, the poor home page design and the lame promotional schedule we were unable to score this site very highly and we really wanted to, we are big fans of Aunty Acid and her humour. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said of her bingo offering.

Game Options at Aunty Acid Bingo

In game options to customise your game play are quite limited at Aunty Acid Bingo. You do not have the option to manually mark your tickets, it is all auto daub. However, you do have the option to change the colour and shape of your dabber. Sadly, the bingo game is not that interactive in comparison with other brands on other softwares online today.

You are also able to alter the font colour and size in chat but with little encouragement to join in with chat (no chat games, the hosts a little trigger happy with the smile icons), it’s redundant in our opinion.

Loyalty

There is a loyalty program of sorts available with Aunty Acid Bingo and it offers increased deposit bonuses as you rise through the levels. However, whilst the loyalty scheme is transparent in so far as how many points are required per level as shown below, it is unclear how a point is earned. Additionally, the benefits on offer are not as good as those found at other sites when compared.

Progressive Jackpots

There are plenty of progressive jackpot games available in the rooms at this site. From the main lobby details of these can be seen on rotation. Usually the Grand PJP is the largest and then the smaller is the specific room jackpot.

At the time of the review a room jackpot could be won by calling bingo in 33 numbers or less whilst the Grand PJP is won by calling in 28 numbers or less.

Other Games

Aunty Acid Bingo offers an array of other games alongside the bingo and what works in favour for the Cozy Games software is that these can be played using bonus funds as well as cash. However, you should note that when using bonus cash to spin the reels or place a bet on the side games, winnings are paid back as bonus funds too and are therefore not available for withdrawal.
