Many internet bingo players had bought tickets for the big Mini Cooper game that was due to take place on New Years Day at 9pm. Sadly all the players who had their eye on the grand prize were disappointed because oftechnical issues for Wink Bingo Mini game, it simply didn’t play and has been rescheduled for 10th January.
Wink Bingo attributed the problems to the “overwhelming demand” causing the system to overload. Is this an acceptable explanation?
Surely all the internet bingo players who had tickets for the game, originally due to play on New Years Day at 9pm, should be shown the courtesy by Wink Bingo of not having their odds slashed of winning by the site continuing to sell tickets. Although we weren’t in the game at the time of the technical difficulties, we are sure more players have bought more tickets meaning the chances of winning are falling with each new ticket purchased.
Wink Bingo have however given all internet bingo players who had tickets prior to the original game one extra ticket for free although how this affects players who had bought maximum tickets is unclear.
For those players who didn’t buy bingo tickets, they forgot or Christmas expenses simply meant they didn’t have the funds, the new game date of 10th January means they can still be in with a chance of winning one of the following prizes from Wink Bingo:
- One line winner – £500
- Two line winner – £1,000
- Full house winner – Mini Cooper
Let’s hope with even more players in the game now that Wink Bingo doesn’t have even more “technical issues” on Sunday, January 10th at 9pm!
