Two new bingo sites have recently opened to players although neither have had their ‘official’ launch as yet and the common denominator between the two is that sexual attractiveness is being used to sell the brand to players – dodgy ground considering a recent complaint to the Advertising Standards Authority that suggest Mr Winner of Winner Bingo was seductive and sexually successful! Does sex really sell bingo?
The two new sites are Hunky Bingo and Sexy Shoes Bingo and both have opted to launch on the Dragonfish network. This means that the 888 software powers the games and both brands are operated by Cassava.
New Site Hunky Bingo
When you land at Hunky Bingo for the first time it is clear how the site is trying to use sexual attractiveness to entice the player in but actually, it does nothing for us. We had to register to see exactly what was on offer and within a day had received the following email:
Subject: Cute puppy, sexy hunk and 2 millions loyalty points
As a 45 year old woman, the lad in the picture actually looks young enough to be my son so there’s no a single iota of appeal. Additionally I find Yorkshire Terriers a bit yappy. Whilst I get the intent behind the brand, maybe it needs to be a little more “targeted”. That said would a George Clooney hunk in my inbox make me want to go back? Probably not.
New Site Sexy Shoes Bingo
This brand isn’t quite as in your face with the ‘sex sells’ side of things but a visit to the home page reveals a pair of shoes that wouldn’t look our of place on a street walker. Again, that’s just my opinion and I am a middle-aged woman, it could work for someone of the younger generation who might think ‘Wow I want a pair!’
Overall Gaming Experience At The Two New Bingo Sites
Hunky Bingo is different in some ways in that they have their own exclusive room, have renamed the loyalty levels in the standard Dragonfish offering and have a few exclusive promos. Other than that though there is nothing really exciting or different about either brand. Both are worth a visit though if you love what the network has to offer.
