How do you pick the bingo tickets that you want to play at an internet bingo site? Unlike land bingo where you don’t have a choice, at internet bingo you usually have a choice of up to 60 bingo cards.
Do you just randomly select them or are there cards that you specifically look for? Personally when I play 90 ball bingo or 80 ball bingo then I tend to choose cards that have 8, 13, 14, 15, 19, or 20 on. These are all birthdays an anniversaries in my immediate family. This is unless there is a cheap game on, something like a 10p max game where you can buy maximum of 24 cards and then I would generally buy all 24.
With 75 ball bingo I just choose them at random. With the Pattern games sometimes it makes more sense to be random – for example if you are playing the letter I pattern which requires 5 numbers in the “N” column and 2 each in the “I” and “G” columns, the numbers I usually look for wouldnt be condusive to winning.
For example, these are how the numbers are set out in 75 ball
B = numbers 1 – 15
I = numbers 16 – 30
N = numbers 31 – 45
G = numbers 46 – 60
O = numbers 61 – 75
and a bingo I pattern on the board below requires numbers 21, 26, 32, 39, 40, 41, 57 & 59 to be marked off for a win. With my numbers I wouldn’t even have marked off one number!
I also read somewhere that you are reducing your chances of winning by picking “lucky” numbers as these numbers actually only appear on a small percentage of cards, something like 20%. Maybe I need to rethink my strategy?
