7th March sees the stage all set for the 82nd annual Oscars awards and whilst actors, actresses and numerous celebrity watchers can’t wait to see who wins what, some people really don’t hold that much interest. With the world’s press posed for celeb snapping why not partake in a little tongue in cheek Oscars Bingo?
Funnily enough Christoph Waltz mentioned bingo in the film ‘ Inglorious Basterds’ and the idea for Oscars Bingo is not mine but has to be attributed to ReelzChannel! At their web page you can download one of four bingo cards; each card contains 25 squares like a 75 ball bingo board and as with internet bingo, the middle square is a free one with Christoph Waltz head in the middle! Each square contains something that may or may not happen at the Oscars Award ceremony and if it does, mark it off!
Here are just some of the things showing in the Oscars Bingo squares:
- Someone on the read carpet asks “Who are you wearing?”
- God mentioned in an acceptance speech
- A loser unable to conceal his/her disappointment
- Avatar wins an award
- Patrick Swayze remembered
- A star says “I’m wearing Versace”
- High tech stage set malfunction
All of these things could and probably will happen at the 2010 Oscars Awards and Oscars Bingo is just a little bit of fun to relieve the boredom for anyone who is forced to sit through the awards because a partner loves watching!
However, you could just boot up your laptop and have a game of bingo on the internet instead?
