It was only last week that we speculated about the closure of News of the World Bingo following the news that Sunday 10th July would see the last publication of the newspaper of the same name. Today we can tell you that News of the World Bingo is now closed and players are being advised to use Sun Bingo as an alternative. The news did not come as a shock really considering the reason why the newspaper ceased publication and was, in our opinion, inevitable.
So what does this mean for News of The World Bingo players? Well we are awaiting confirmation from the official source but we believe that players registered with NOTW Bingo will find that their login details now work with Sun Bingo – ours did. Any balance that were remaining in player accounts at NOTW Bingo, we believe, will also be transferred to Sun Bingo. To be honest the closure of the site won’t really adversely affect the player, the game play is the same at Sun Bingo and the promotions are actually far superior. In fact for the NOTW Bingo this could actually be a great move!
Is there to be any recompense for what NOTW Bingo may feel to be an inconvenience? It’s highly unlikely because to be honest, they are being direct to what is, in our opinion, a far superior site with an improved player experience.
