Since the introduction of the Point Of Consumption tax on 1st December 2014 we have seen a number of changes from the world of online bingo, changes that are predominately focused around the bonuses offered by the brands. Posh Bingo recently changed the structure of the reload bonuses available at the site but this was only noted on a visit to the site rather than through an email sent by the brand.
It used to be that after your first deposit any subsequent financial transaction with Posh Bingo of £10 or more was instantly given a 50% reload bonus, this is no longer the case.
Now to claim the 50% bonus you have to ensure that you have entered the bonus code. Not satisfied with making things more complicated than they were by introducing the code itself, Posh Bingo have added an extra hoop for you to jump through by changing the code on a monthly basis.
For January the code that should be used to ensure you receive the 50% bonus on deposits is HEELS. This code is valid only from 1st January to 31st January 2015. On 1st February a new code will be added to the site.
As a sweetener to players Posh Bingo have said that there may be a higher than standard bonus available between Monday and Thursday, 7pm until 11:59pm for those using the code. This will be allocated at random.
We believe that Posh Bingo, along with many other brands online today, are trying to recoup the 15% extra in tax that they have to now pay from cutting bonuses etc. Whilst the bonus is still available, its only going to be given to players who actually remember to enter the code. The brand clearly believe that they will save some money or the introduction of a code would not have happened.
What do you think of the new code system for reloads at Posh Bingo and are we going to see it happening at all the sites under the 888 hat?
