Making a bingo advert that appeals to players has definitely become an art form. With so many online bingo advertson television these days it has become boring to watch the same old adverts appear time after time, therefore it is nice to see the new Jackpot Joy advert divert away from this “norm” that has emerged and bring some excitement back to bingo adverts. Thumbs up go to the people behind this advert new Jackpot Joy advert as it is funny, clever and most of all it has nothing to do with bingo!
This Jackpot Joy advert works mainly because it doesn’t feature women sat around a laptop and there is no sign of bingo balls anywhere. You wouldn’t even know this advert had anything to do with bingo until the end as to start it looks like an advert for Formula One as wheels get rolled out on to a track. Those only looking closely will spot that this is a bingo advert as 13 seconds in the Jackpot Joy Queen of Bingo Barbara Windsor steps up to start the race in the famous massive frock.
Accompanied by the song I Believe in a Thing Called Love by The Darkness this advert features two elderly people race around Santa Pod Raceaway in Northamptonshire on their mobility scooters. With baskets full of knitting and groceries these two race around the track at high speeds trying to get to the finish line first as the crowd cheers them on, but I won’t spoil it by telling you who wins!
This advert uses the slogan ‘Just for the Jackpot Joy of it’ and asks players what would you do if you won. Massive round of applause goes to Jackpot Joy for as this advert because in our opinion it is pure brilliance and by the response already to it on YouTube many people also think this advert is great.
