Lucky Pants Bingo opened at the beginning of 2013 and shortly after welcoming the first players through their virtual doors they were advertising their wares on television. Whether you are a bingo player or not you won’t have failed to notice the number of Internet brands in the commercial breaks of late so this site really needed a VPL to make it’s mark (Visible Panty Line)!
This is exactly what they did because once you have gotten over the fact that Daub Alderney Ltd REALLY did name a brand Lucky Pants Bingo, you take the advertising as it is meant – as a little bit of tongue in cheek fun.
What is advertising supposed to do for a brand? In fact what is the name supposed to do for a brand? Simple answer really and of course both questions are rhetorical, the aim is to make the brand memorable! Big tick on both counts for Daub with Lucky Pants Bingo because whilst many were left wondering ‘Why?’, the commercial that followed was genius.

Prior to the launch of Lucky Pants Bingo there had already been two brands opened; Spin and Win who dropped their bingo offering quite quickly and Kitty Bingo. The advertising for these brands didn’t quite have the impact on the viewer as that for Lucky Pants and we’d lay money the latest brand for Daub Alderney Ltd has a far higher number of registrations following the airing of their commercial! It has certainly raised brand awareness!
