The Jeremy Kyle Show has taken on a Think Bingo theme and although it is one of my favourite programmes to watch when I can’t sleep early hours of the morning; yes it’s re-run at about 3am as well as shown at 9.25am every weekday morning I have rapidly lost interest. I used to love watching the show when the mini clips in the advert breaks where for Foxy Bingo but Jeremy Kyle has now taken on a Think Bingo theme.
Previously the mini clips just before the adverts during the Jeremy Kyle show where Foxy Bingo ones; they had a lot of relevance to bingo even incorporating bingo balls and their bingo calls into them but the new Think Bingo theme of the mini clips have no relevance to online bingo or any type of bingo for that matter.
One of the Think Bingo themed clips during the Jeremy Kyle Show has a chubby lady lying on a lilo in a swimming pool surrounded by pink balls – relevance to bingo – zilch; another has a swimming pool full of pink bingo balls with a head emerging from under the balls wearing a swimming cap and goggles – relevance to bingo – minimal. The only other one I have seen is a rather rotund lady in a bikini launching herself into a swimming pool – relevance to bingo – diddly squat.
The entire mini clips in the advert breaks prior to Jeremy Kyle taking on a Think Bingo theme featured the Foxmeister from Foxy Bingo chatting about things like people knocking on his door but the whole concept and conversation was around bingo. For example one clip shows the Foxmeister sitting at a dinner table with a silver platter in front of him and chopsticks in his hand – he then says “oh yes I like a bit of duck” and a bingo ball with the number 2 shows in the left hand corner then he shakes the chopsticks and says “I can’t get the hang of these blooming chopsticks” and the a bingo ball with the number 6 appears. The Foxmeister then says “Although if I’m honest I prefer a chicken vindaloo” and a bingo ball with the number 52 appears.
I think what has happened with the mini clips for the Think Bingo theme on Jeremy Kyle is that they have been lost in translation. The full Think Bingo advertising campaign has a song that makes sense of the advert and the idea behind the campaign – the mini clips don’t have the same background music as the same full version advert and it just loses the relevance to internet bingo.
The words for the Think Bingo theme song are something like this:
I know where all the girls go; all the modern girls go and get together
They have got all day; all the modern girls get together
They just wanna play
Foxy Bingo in comparison went for a classic on their bingo advert – “We are family” by Sister Sledge. The Think Bingo theme tune however is quite catchy although I have no idea who sang it or where to get a copy of it.
Large ladies in bikini’s faffing around in a swimming pool really doesn’t make me think about online bingo or make me want to play online bingo at the site it is advertising.
Has Jeremy Kyle taking on a Think Bingo theme been a mistake? What do you think?

I could not of put it better myself. I am a number one fan of Jeremy Kyle so much as I don’t move till 10.30am when the show has finished. I am slowly getting fed up of the Think Bingo mini clips that show on every interval, its putting me off watching the show. The clips don’t make me think of online bingo; they make me think I need to join a gym. Bring back the Foxy Bingo clips, me and my granddaughter loved to sing along with him.
