Customer support at any internet bingo site in the UK is renowned for being superb and when you call, on the whole, you will be treated with the utmost respect. However a look on YouTube recently uncovered a Gala Bingo prank support call which sees one person, who can only be described as an imbecile, try to prank their customer support team.
The caller tries to prank the agent into believing that he has won one million pounds and is ringing to collect his winnings from Gala Bingo. The Gala Bingo prank support call is dotted with expletives as the caller uses a number of swear words to ensure the customer support team member at Gala Bingo understand the letters of his postcode.
It really does show a complete lack of respect, not to mention the obvious amount of spare time, that the caller has for the job that this Gala Bingo customer support worker is trying to do. Throughout the 6 minute call the agent at the end of the phone manages to maintain his cool and continues to try and help the caller despite the fact that it is obviously just some idiot with nothing better to do.
The chap from Gala Bingo puts up with at least 5 minutes worth of bad language and incorrect information before finally informing the time waster that he will “terminate the call should he persist in using that language”.
The prank caller responds to this by saying “this is my everyday language, people appreciate the way I speak” at which point the Gala Bingo representative terminates the call.
When it comes to internet bingo and customer service, you have to take your virtual hat off to the way the Gala Bingo employee handle the prank support call; dignified and maintaining an air of professionalism at all times!
