Bingo Scotland is now part of what was originally said to be a newly formed network from Cashcade that sees thisinternet bingo brand and three others become one. Bingo Scotland, ITV Bingo and Rollover Bingo are all standalone brands from Cashcade but on 16th March we saw Bingo Scotland become part of the network. Mirror Bingo is the next to join this new venture from Cashcade but what has changed with Bingo Scotland since it’s move?
Well we popped along today to try and register a new account but with no success and the reason is one that we have come across with numerous brands online today and is really infuriating. Once the registration form had been completed this is the error message we received:
Dear [chosen username here]
www.bingoscotland.com is part of a shared bingo network with a number of other sites.
Your attempt to register has been unsuccessful as either your email address, [email address here] or your card details are already registered on this network.
Please log onto your existing account to play bingo on this network.
Thank You!
Cashcade Customer Support
This means that like many other networked brands you can no longer register with Bingo Scotland if you have an account at Rollover Bingo, Mirror Bingo, ITV Bingo or any other Cashcade networked brand!
For players who were already members of Bingo Scotland and email was despatched recently that contained their new usernames – a friend’s was the same as previous but with an additional ‘s’ on the end.
Stepping through the virtual doors is where you will notice a difference; the lobby is laid out differently and it would appear that Bingo Scotland, as well as having networked rooms, also has two standalone rooms.
This is where things get interesting because whilst Cashcade have suggested that it’s just the four sites that are part of the new network, this is not the case at all. Closer Bingo, Graces Bingo, We Luv Bingo, STV Bingo and many other brands are ALL part of this network. Visit the standard 90 ball and 75 ball rooms and you’ll find the same players from ALL of the brands under the Cashcade network hat.
This means that a player who is registered at Bingo Scotland will no longer be able to register using the same email address/card details that had previously been used at a site like We Luv Bingo.
