As many of our readers will know we have a system in place whereby players can submit their own reviews of any of the internet bingo sites that we have listed in our reviews section. Recently we received a bet365 Bingo player review that threw up an issue we had already addressed about Ladbrokes Bingo.
The issue is about the new cashier pop up that appears when a player has no funds in their account and tries to access the bingo rooms at bet365 Bingo.
Here is the text taken from the review we received about bet365 Bingo:
They (bet365 Bingo) are running a promotion called First Call Fever. You have to spend £5 onbingo tickets and then are entered into this room the next day. There are 4 free games in this room and the rest of the games are 3p. I spent my £5 and didn’t win so my balance was 0.00p. I got my invite to the first class room that i had spent £5 for the privillage of getting in this room. Yet when i logged out and back in and tried to access the bingo lobby i recieved a message saying i would need to deposit. NOWHERE on the bet365 website, even on the T & C’s for this or any other promotion does it state that you are required to have funds in your balance before you can access the bingo lobby. I only wanted to play the 4 free games in this room and i didn’t want to have to deposit again. But i lost out because of this lack of vital information, which means this promotion is misleading and not providing what it says you get for spending your £5. I have taken this up with Bet365 and i am awaiting a satisfactory responce. Also they boast they have free bingo everyday, but fail to say in order to play these free game you are required to have funds in your balance so therefore it is not free and when the room that normally does the free bingo has penny bingo there is NO FREE bingo so again advertising something they are not providing.
This player has been a ‘victim’ of the new system in place at bet365 Bingo (and a few other brands) that opens the cashier if you don’t have at least 1p in your account.
Our response was:
Thank you very much for your review of bet365 Bingo. We would like to address the issues you have raised and assure you that we are a completely independent entity to any of the internet bingo sites that we have reviewed.
The issue you are talking about with regards to be taken straight to the cashier because there are no funds in your account is a recent addition to many Virtue Fusion bingo sites. This includes brands like Ladbrokes and Virgin Bingo also.
The new system does automatically open the cashier if they dont have funds in their account but there is a link to click to continue to the bingo lobby. From there you can access the free games that are advertised. However it isn’t as clear as it could be, something we have addressed with Ladbrokes previously and will be addressing again with bet365 now you have pointed it out about their brand.
When the cashier opens just under the heading ‘FUND BALANCE’ there is a clickable link that says
Alternatively to return to the Bingo Lobby click here.
When you click ‘click here’ this will open the bingo lobby meaning that you should be able to then access the free bingo games.
We have raised the issues with bet365 Bingo and previously Ladbrokes Bingo so we shall wait and see if the brands now using the new system address the problem and make it easier for internet bingo players to access the lobby without feeling that they have to make a deposit in order to do so.
