In July 2014 Sunday Mail Bingo closed as many of the brands (like Mirror Bingo) that had previously been on the Cashcade network, moved to Virtue Fusion. The following review is for information purposes only and will no longer be updated.
The links on this page point to Mirror Bingo, a brand also owned by Trinity Mirror Plc.

Sunday Mail Bingo is a site owned and operated by the newspaper of the same name, but if it was not for a small logo and link in the top right hand corner of the homepage, you would not know there was any association between the two. The site is just one of many that make up the Cashcade network and it is powered by the popular 888/Globalcom software. If you have played on any of the Cashcade sites before, everything will feel very familiar as they all use an identical layout and in some cases even the same colour scheme.
The Sunday Mail Bingo homepage is made up of a series of banners which are used to advertise their latest offers and promotions. Everything is well laid out and clear to see but the overall design is uninspiring, especially after we have seen it a dozen times before. To the left of the screen you can see details of their most recent winners alongside the value of the progressive jackpots you could win if you decide to register. The whole site can be navigated using the menu at the top of the screen and it’s always worth checking out the different pages as they contain some useful information.
When you come to register you will need to enter the basic details such as your name, address, email address and chosen username, but you must make sure this is different to any you have used for sites on the same network. They do not ask you to enter any credit card details until you are ready to make a deposit though. When this time comes, you will earn a decent bonus on your first deposit, followed by reloads on all future deposits. They offer a number of different ways to fund your account including most of the popular secure online methods.
Head into the lobby and all signs of Sunday Mail Bingo vanish, with their logos replaced with a generic ‘Bingo’ that is used by most of the sites on the network. The lobby also uses the networks standard blue and red colour scheme which is pleasant enough but once again we have seen it numerous times before. In the lobby you will find just four tabs leading to the various games on offer, which include 75 ball bingo, 90 ball bingo, instants and pre-buys. If you need to top up your account you can do this by clicking on the ‘Banking’ button at the top of the screen.
The bingo rooms themselves are very well designed with equal portions of the screen dedicated to your cards and chatting to your buddies. When you come to buy cards you can manually select them one at a time or use the ‘Auto select Strips’ option at the side of the page to save time. If you think your cards are not being very lucky for you, you can change them with a single mouse click. There is a good selection of mini games to choose from too and because they open up in a separate window, it means you can enjoy them and your bingo games at the same time.
Sunday Mail Bingo suffers the same fate as all of the other sites on the network when it comes to promotions as there are just not enough of them to keep the modern bingo player happy. We give them their due when it comes to guaranteed jackpots as they give away over £50,000 each and every week but sadly that is where the excitement ends. The only other promotions they have to offer is a weekend tournament where you can win Bingo Points, a poor loyalty scheme and a refer a friend scheme that will earn you bonus money each time one of your friends becomes a funded player.
Sunday Mail Bingo is not a bad site per se but unfortunately with so much competition out there offering so much more, they really need to up their game if they hope to be successful. If you are looking for plenty of free bonus money and lots of guaranteed cash jackpots then we are sure you can have a great time, but if you are want a more extensive gaming experience with more choice and a wider variety of promotions you are probably better off looking at the 888/Globalcom powered sites on the Dragonfish network.

Game Options
Sunday Mail Bingo is powered by the popular 888/Globalcom software. As a registered player you will have access to a great range of games including 75 ball bingo and 90 ball bingo. If you prefer your side games though, don’t worry as there are plenty of those too including multi-line slots, scratchcards, Roulette, three reel slots and instant games. Head into the bingo rooms and you might be disappointed to see that there are not many options compared to other networks out there. The options that they do have though as broken down into five categories and give you control over your tickets, sounds and alerts. There is also a selection of dauber shapes and colours but they are all very basic compared to those available elsewhere. In the chat room you can change the size and colour of your font and even send your bingo buddies virtual gifts, some of which are free and others that you need to purchase with your bingo points.

The easiest way is by taking part in the Chat games that are run by the Chat Hosts in all of their bingo rooms.
