It would appear that internet bingo is under a lot of scrutiny from the Advertising Standards Agency (ASA) of late and this is the second complaint against bingo giants Foxy Bingo. This time is was an actual MP complaint about Foxy Bingo and not just any old MP but The Shadow Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, Don Foster MP. The complaint in essence is all about the £10 free offer made by internet bingo site Foxy Bingo and prior to the change made recently where a deposit has to be made to get the free £10. The MP complaint about Foxy Bingo consisted of two parts:-
The full adjudication is available from the Advertising Standards Agency website but to surmise Foxy Bingo came out the winners as the ASA felt “no further action was necessary”. Do you think the adverts were misleading? You may simply have a comment about the MP complaint about Foxy Bingo in which case feel free to email any comments to comment@ballsupbingo.co.uk 17/09/2008 09:56:19 |
